Hey everyone, I just bought a very nice looking 2006 DRZ400SM last weekend, with only 14k km's. Been years of wanting one, and finally was able to!
In my inexperience with what DRZ's are supposed to sound like, I trusted the seller when he said the engine noise was normal. Turns out she's knocking and has a buggered conrod, scored sleeve and still waiting to hear about the rest. Typical case of too good to be true.
Would like to find out, does anyone have a DRZ400 cylinder they'd be willing to sell that's in good condition? Trying to look for a cheaper alternative than sending mine to have the Nikasil coating redone and honed in Joburg.
