My Chain have a quick link - no problems so far. You get a so called "closed" Chain, but you need a special tool to re-flange the pin where you link the chain.  You will be able to get you current chain of with a chain breaker or angle grinder... If you dont have the tools it might be a bit...

Luckilly it was a Corolla and not a Ford  ;D.  I accedently knocked the car's mirror with the one pannier, the guy in the car looked like he had a moerse fright when i reversed at the red light and pushed his mirror in its place again.  He did try to dice me afterwards,  but he rode past.

Perhaps he thought it was me... ;D.
