Yes, I must admit, the acceleration is amasing!  :laughing4: But for me it is also on how it "feels". It really handles light. Almost like a 650 (even if you dont accelerate). It was not rain or sliping that freaked me out as much as how the cagers drive when it gets wet....scary!

Thanks BLK. You have no issues with overheating? I saw some reports from guys claiming that some of the radiator guards can lead to overheating?

Eeesch... Not nice. Specially not if it leaves you stranded. Do you thing crash bars alone would have prevented this to happen? Or do you need the covers also?

Thanks for all the advice gents. I phoned around a bit. Generally the best discount on a cash deal was bout 3%. Lyndhurst offered me a few extra bucks off on a bike the dealership bought out as dealer stock just before a resent price increase. Not much better but I suppose every cent counts...

Not sure why the confusion. I am 100% sure it is a true 2007 model. But just as confirmation: Description on original BMW invoice: R1200GSFN07 VIN: WB10307A27ZU.... Maybe some of you guys are not as clued up as you think  :peepwall:

You had me worried. I had to go check but no, no chip marks. Think it was just a reflextion from a light or something. I bought it in May 2007 so doubt very much that it can be a 2006 trim.

After much deliberation I have decided to upgrade to a LC model. Therefore putting my 2007 on the market. Bought it new and really took good care of it. Never been raised, very little gravel, very low km (only 21500). Some highlights: - Replaced the battery mid last year with genuine BMW...
