There are two measurements. One is you handlebar diameter, and the other is the distance between the two bolts. Will measure tonight and update.

Ha ha Danie, you are onto something.  :deal: If you look closely at Hanno's first photo, you will actually see a GS standing in the front. I and also went past there, albeit with a GS twin that is considered a ladies' bike by some.  ;D

Jip, agree, very sturdy. I doubt it, the rotopax has a different hole where the fitting needs to go through if I am not mistaken, this one only has a round hole. I paid R375 yesterday at Plastics for Africa Somerset West.  :P

Agreed, reason would be mud. Because with mud this could happen: On the 950 and 640 adventures you have a brake-line that loops over the mudguard. If you lose your mudguard, you will most probably lose your front brakes as the tyre takes out the brake-line as it now catches the tyre...
