Engine sounds butter smooth. I might just have forgotten, but it sounds even better than before. I have not done the carb balancing yet. With the hunting something of the past I am not in a whole lot of hurry to do it. Apparently the local KTM guys have a dyno, so might just send it over to them...

I bought the tennis racket tape to put it on the frame where the crashbars is fastened, and for the crashbars where they usually get scratched. Then it was time to install the Brad Harris plugs for the power outlet in the cubbyhole. Preparing the clamps and wiring. I then epoxied...

Do you by any chance have a photo of this version? Do you leave the rest of the components inside the dust cover, with just the FET outside? This sounds like a great sollution!

It takes the electrical load off the points. The points on the pump is coroded by arching when opening and closing, in order to do this the points need to be in a reasonable condition. Hope it makes sense? Thanks.  :thumleft:
