Can I ask why you are running the suspension at max preload with one up - this bike has fairly decent suspension, running an R so compressed without weight on the bike (and tires that are not in great condition) at speed just sounds like trouble. My bike gives some headshake at very high...

Battery problems don't normally cut this bike out until they are at quite an advanced stage - and you get other symptoms first (eg. hard or not starting, particularly on cold mornings) . My gut is that you have a fuel pump problem.

The LED bulbs are very vulnerable to voltage fluctuation - they normally are supplied with a voltage stabiliser - which is probably what the mysterious box contains.

I spoke to RAD - they don't advise it on the 1190 yet - they say that the 1190 code is not stable enough and as such, cause some general computer errors - they suggest waiting until the next release.

They are much much lighter that OEM and do look good. They do however need some modification to fit an 1190 - they suggested cutting the stock end off and welding on the loops to make it work, but I would far rather buy or get an adapter made in order to be able to reverse out the change if ever...

A narrower rim is stronger than the wider version of the same diameter. The 1190 Adv has smaller diameter rims than the R - I doubt that the Adv wheels are any less robust than the R. Lets rather start a 19" vs 21" discussion  :pot:

For tar riding, I would be comfortable with the DNA, using the Uni gasket and pre filters but if you are using the bike in dusty conditions, I would stick with the full Uni solution. Personally, I prefer just using the safer option - the performance difference feels negligible to me anyway.

Doesn't it run a bit slow filling the bike through the keyhole?
