    AUCTION TIME... (1)

I suspect that jangys did not get the context of GeelKat's post - if he did, he would have understood the relevance of the minor hijack ..... https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=150131.0

Anyone ever bump start their 1190 R? Sorted- bought a new battery

I suspect that it will take a man on a white horse! Rather try the rear wheel to rear wheel trick - not sure if it will work like it does on the 990s.

    Quick question....

    F650gs twin jerking while coasting..

The missing parts are covers over the secondary air system - there are reed valves under those covers. The F650 Twin did not have the secondary air system installed - just blanking plates - I do not know whether the F700 version actually had the reed valves, but at very least, that area should...

    Bearing sizes

Looks about right. The 3rd bearing on the rear is in the sprocket carrier. Remember that the front uses two differently sized seals - a 25mm and a 30mm. Rear uses 30mm seals (47 x 7). Again, correct on the steering bearings. LeCap used to bring in sealed bearings but I don't think that they...

    Garmin Units advise please..???

WP, you can plug an external antenna into the Quest - which is your long term answer. First remove the screw that holds the thin pillar at the back - then you can unplug the antenna. Don't lose the spring or little wheel. Clean the contacts with contact cleaner on both sides - often buys you a...

    F650gs twin fork seals

Lets just say that it's 'unusual' to replace on only one side.

    F650gs twin fork seals

If you are near to Jug, that's a damn good option. Remember that this is the Twin without upside down forks - different to the F800

    F650gs twin fork seals

Fork seals from the dealers are generally not that expensive - I have never bothered looking for alternatives. It is however worthwhile getting someone like Adventurer or Runner to install them as they don't rip you a new one on the labour.

Selling my bike. What say you?

You will do a lot better if you strip the extras and sell them separately. Give the bike back to a dealer as close as stock as possible. If the compression test is good, you should have no problem selling on the second hand market.
