So I bought the 2006 1200 GS and went on my first trip yesterday dirt and tar. Definitely a different bike to the 1150. The 1150  had 50/50 tyres and the 1200 anakee 2 .      After my first trip difficult to say but I think I prefer the 1200. Do miss the adv tank on the 1150 although it is a GS...

I have a reconditioned one done by Covenent motors.  Send me a pm if you don't come right. .  Costs about. R1000 to rewire with heat resistant wire.  What is wrong with your hallsensor.

So what are you going to buy now Gaz. I am also thinking of selling my bike.  It has cost me a lot of money replacing the engine etc.  Think of finding myself a nice 2006 GSA
