I think its a rider I briefly met at Tankwa padstal on friday afternoon, word was that he hit a sheep on friday evening, in fading light, on his 800GS adventure, above the pass near Gannaga lodge. When I spoke to him earlier he said he was on his way to Gannaga Lodge. I saw his bike afterwards...

I think there was a solid white line, but with enough space for a car and a bike. Surely if theres a solid line, then turning right shouldn't be an option for the car?

I was lucky that I managed to keep the bike upright, it happened at a very low speed. Although the owner of the car reckons that "everybody think I was going very fast, to cause all that damage to her car." You can probably cause all that damage by just running into the car - sub-compact korean car.

when can you pass a car on your bike? I passed a girl in a car on friday in our main road at about 30km/h - she say she had her indicator out, I didn't see an indicator, maybe it was switched on when I was already next to her car. I hurt my left foot and left forearm, but not serious. Her car...

Does the Doring river become the Tankwa river? We crossed the Tankwa river twice this weekend no problem...if there were bridges I can't remember any. I think most of the rivers in this area are much lower than what they usually are this time of the year. Can anybody else confirm this?
