2 strokes also, I don't think you can get them roadworthy, only for off road, MX etc...I have to admit though, those are just what I heard and read, Im not an expert. Im sure somebody who know more on the topic will chip in soon  ;D

I was under the impression that they stopped importing them because of our countries homologation with European emission laws. Basically makes it impossible to get a new  bike with a carburator roadworthied. Australia and most American states have different emission laws, thats why they are...

I also use velcro tape to stick my gps to a little plastic platform (which i btw also velcro'd onto my bike), more than 5000km gravel roads without fail. Actually  absorbs vibration extremely well.
