Thanks Nigel, thing is I want to keep the venter as a luggage trailer, not just the chassis. Want to bolt on a track in the middle of the trailer and remove when I need the trailer for holiday etc.

Volroom, my trailer is 30cm shorter than the KLR wheelbase, so I want to fit a rail in the middle and to carry the bit of overhang. Will also put some weight in the nosecone to balance the weight.

Hi Guys I am also considering making my venter trailer "dual purpose"  ;). I can remove the tailgate and the lid. Can some of you that converted your venter to carry a bike please post a few pics, especially the inside and how you fastened it to the trailor etc? I am in need of some ideas...

Hi Guys Well I joined the club, prowd owner of a 2009 KLR, 2000k's on the clock. The oil is a bit low and black, want to do a oil change, and replace the filter. Where in Pta/Centurion can I buy a good quality filter, rather than using the "stealers"?
