Got my licence on the first attempt at Edenvale yesterday. The examiner did explain exactly what I needed to do for each test, though I already knew from reading and doing the BMW course.
The test could be passed without doing a course, but I definitely recommend going on a course so you know...
A lot depends on the device. For example, Zumos work on a pressure sensitive screen, so gloves don't cause a problem.
Smart phones use capacative touch screens so you need to allow electrical current through the glove to operate the device.
Hi All
Does anyone know of bike gloves made of conductive thread so you can operate capacitative touch screen devices with your gloves on?
I have seen skiing type gloves, but I doubt these will offer protection in a fall.
When I'm using the app travelling around the suburbs it works ok. Knows where I am and can guide me.
But once I hit the freeway and higher speeds, the app gets totally confused. Generally it tells me "poor GPS coverage", but sometimes shows me going the wrong way or on the wrong road altogether...
Greetings to all
Would like to intro myself and ask about the mug shots page.
I've been riding for a year now after buying my 800GS off a dog, but I'm very slack about posting
Re the mugshots, is it closed, or it is just my PC?
