Yeah, done some tar commuting and I must say I prefer the e-07's in the wet as far as mixed terrain tyres go.  I had the back spinning / slipping fairly often and I'm relatively easy on the throttle in the wet.  I wouldn't like to test them on corners at any type of speed. WB

I don't believe they will give high mileage - or let me rather say compared to the e-07's, if riding lots of tar.  Don't get me wrong, they're great tyres and they grip well on tar and dirt and I will very likely replace with the same one day, but if you're looking for mileage on tar and daily...

While I'm loving my Karoo 3's and am on around 4000k's now, I would not recommend them for high mileage. I've previously run the e-07's for daily tar commuting and found them to be fine on wet or dry tar, with good mileage. WB

I've done almost 2000k's on mine now and find they do quieten down a little, except between 100 - 120, where they remain fairly noisy. Love them though! WB

Handling feels fine on tar and in corners (not that I usually scrape foot-pegs!).  The little bit of dirt and some sand I've been able to ride so far, they felt great!  Haven't had an opportunity to test them in the wet yet though. WB
