Stability at slow / walking speed

Thanks Mark, I'll get someone else to look at it.  At speed it's fine and everything feels ok when on the stand.  But I'm still convinced something's off - or my balance has just taken a dive! WB

Stability at slow / walking speed

Hi, Wondering whether anyone else has experienced this?  At low speed, i.e. moving through traffic in the mornings, I'm frequently feeling like the bike is in a groove.  It almost wants to track into vehicles at times!  I've not felt it on other bikes in the past.  Tyres only have around 5k on...

    Fork protectors

I had a set of the Kriega shock socks and I found after a few months that they began to get little cracks in them - probably from getting wet and drying out again.  The rubber / neoprene begins to perish.  I'd post a pic if I still had them  :-)  They did work well though - just don't believe...

    Best Fog Lights?

I have a set of LED spots from these guys (https://www.schlowycustomsblog.co.za) and they've worked really well so far.  A little over a R1000 if I remember correctly. WB

    Fork protectors

Hi all, Thought I'd provide some feedback on this.  I received the protectors I ordered (from Ride on Adv) and fitted them in about 3 minutes.  I wasn't sure how they'd look, but they've now grown on me.  They don't look half bad, not quite as neat as the Worldcrosser protectors, but then they...

    Mitas Tyre Discussion

So I did some interesting testing this weekend and suspect I know where the head shake / swaying is coming from - and I don't believe it's the e-07's.  I have a GIVI topbox on the back and with that on and no pillion, I experience the swaying at speeds over around 140 - 150m's.  With a pillion...

    Mitas Tyre Discussion

It's around that now, so will give it a few k's and see how it goes.  The sway is definitely tyre related, because it's not there on other tyres.  On a separate note, I must say that even with all the rain lately, the e-07's have been great on tar!

Wil certainly try that.  It's an interesting experience when it starts swaying at speed...  :-\

    Mitas Tyre Discussion

Loving my e-07's (commute every day), but still get some sway at speeds over 140km.  Interesting thing is it's only on rough tar roads - on a smooth highway it seems to be fine.  I've given up trying to figure out the cause.  It seems some get this, some don't, so just living with it for now. ...

Gedore 60 Piece Tool Kit plus Pliers - R3299

I have a set of Mastercraft tools - the 166 piece set - https://www.mastercrafttools.co.za/product.htm?productID=706) - I think I paid around R3500.  Only had it for around a year, but seems pretty good.  Admittedly I don't strip my S10 down every weekend  :)  Gedore would probably be a better /...

    Anakee 3 thoughts?

I've previously run the A2's and they were great tyres.  Outstanding on wet tar and ok on gravel.  Good to know these are at least as good, if not a little better.  Seems they've also strengthened the carcas somewhat, so good for the heavy bikes.
