Can anybody post a picture of their gas cap...and how it screws on? Or does anyone know if one of these tank bags would fit? From the picture of xr125 - it looks like the fuel cap sinks in, so I am not sure if it could hold this specific tank bag. Any ideas

Anyone? Should I buy an exhaust heat shield for soft panniers, or does the bike already have one installed?

Hello folks, I'll be buying a 2015 xr125 soon(once I arrive in cape town), do I need to buy a heat shield for the exhaust? I plan on hanging soft saddlebags, would I have any issues as the bike is, or should I install one of these...

If you were in my shoes, looking for a brand new xr125, how would you go about finding one in Cape Town and getting the best price? Do the Honda dealerships negotiate price, or are their prices firm? Or are there other dealers that sell xr125's Your help is much appreciated cheers

Thanks for the replies! That is not good news about the chinese dealers going out of business. Should I fly into Johannesburg instead? Or are there still other options in Cape Town? XR125 would be a possibility, depending on the price. My budget is $800 to $1300 for the bike. What is the best...

Hello All, I am flying into Cape Town the middle of December. I have no bike as of yet but plan on buying a chinese model and travel to my destination... or as far as the bike will take me. My main purpose for visiting Africa is to volunteer....so anything extra is a plus. So I am very excited...
