Thanks for the responses guys. I've deduced that the BMW GS bikes hold their resale value really well!  For a extra 10k or so, I think i am going to buy new and at least then I know how its been ridden. Also get the warranty etc. Thanks!

Hi Guys, I am looking to buy a F800GS.  (800 twin) I am a newish rider, so would like a low milage bike (>10 000km). I would prefer a 2nd hand to a demo, as I am not sure they ride the demo's in properly? Anyone know / or got anything? Thanks!
