OK, with the better brakes having worked well for the week, I've decided to do a reverse bleed (from teh calliper to the lever side) this morning. Holy smokes!! Huge difference!  Now hard as rock! ;D When guys with older hoses do the replacement, it might be better to try and do the reverse...

Sounds like the clutch switch failing. Open and Clean it out. Do the same for the side-stand (or rather just bypass it completely).

OK, have just ordered mine from Doc.  And I have replaced my fluid already - so I will be able to confirm the results to be better or worsie! :D

To be honest - I trust Lecap and Doc KLR when it comes to these.  Experience counts. Just a double-check: Doc, is your stock supply the ...  the more expensive PTFE ("Teflon") core lines, not cheap polyamide ("Nylon") core...."? And do you do the color coded shrink-fit?

Decided to bleed the brakes on my KLR650 Fugly, but the screws on the reservoir were so tight, I stripped them (both) using screwdriver and then impact drive. Any suggestion on how to get them out and fix the situation?

HiLecap, I want to do this in future.  What is the pricing for the forks' set on a KLR650?  I will have to have it shipped to Pretoria, and then fit it myself.
