They're definitely doing good work with the taxi's. I saw a someone pulled over yesterday on the N1 outbound just outside CPT.  I went pass too quick (inbound) to see what bike it was, but it looked like a black 1200 GS.  The guy had a black jacket and heltmet on.  Was it one of the forum...

Sure it's dangerous, but I think there in lies the loophole.  I don't thinks it's illegal to cross the line, but there will probably be a vehicle next to you, which would constitute a dangerous lane changing manouvre.

According to the K53 manual a bike is allowed to pass another vehicle in the same lane; provided that the bike does not cross the line between the lanes.  My interpretation of this is that lane splitting is legal.

Thanks. I'ts the only one I know of.  It's not listed in the bike selection list either... Only 2 of them in CPT as far as I know.
