    HID, LAMPF issue

No, I just broke both my thumbs and push my hands in there  Actually, it comes off easily. It is a but of a tight squeeze to get in there, but the rubber holder comes out and then you can pull it upwards to replace the lamp. It helps to turn the steering wheel slightly, if I remember...

    HID, LAMPF issue

Guys, I replaced my park light with an LED and got the LAMPF error. After searching I found out that it needs to be a CANBUS ready LED lamp. Bought one from https://www.4x4direct.co.za/shop/ in Brackenfell and VOILA. All good. Looks stunning with the HID light. Now I see you can replace the...

    Honda Transalp Thread

Thanks Keith, I had a look and yes, they do explain the wear in the manual. I'll have a look see over the weekend. Luckely I have two brand new spare sprockets I bought with the bike so it's just the chain then. Any experience with the K&N filter? I had good results with a K&N on a previous bakkie.

    "New" Transalp - clueless

I recently (last week) bought a 98 Transalp 600v with 26000 on the clock. I have loads of questions, but the first would be: Where do I get a topbox that will be able to take my laptop etc without breaking the bank? Do I go for hard or soft luggage? The heat indicator on the bike hardly moves...

Hi there, I am Gerrit from Windhoek, Namibia. At the moment I only own a wheelchair (400 LTZ quad) but that is about to change. I am in the market (and actively persuing a deal at the moment) for a Dakar. Should I eventually find my Dakar, Davy and I will roam the country once again, as we did...

    Must see places in Namibie?

This is correct. However, you MUST overnight in the park for two nights to use the ferry. Proof of payment required.

    Must see places in Namibie?

Damaraland (north west of Windhoek) is the place for you! Beautyful scenery, especially after the nice rains, and you can basically camp where ever you want. Please don't screw up our beloved country  ;D

    Clueless - KLR 2008?

Hi, I am new to all of this (the forum, not bikes  :D ) And I am now in the market for a dual. I can get a KLR650 second hand with 500 kilos on the clock for R41k. It was registered in November last year, but if I look at the blue and black colour scheme and the general look (trimmings, brakes)...
