I bought the lid knowing about the uvex carbon peak issues and to be honest, for the money and the quality/weight I'm as happy as a pig in ****. The resonating I can sort out with a little bit of double sided tape. It's really very well priced lid, seeing as a Airoh S5 is nearly the same price.
