Best advice is the medium loctite. BMW puts red loctite on bottom and it is a dog to release. Makes sense then to up the torque a bit and use friendly loctite.

I referred to the BMW reprom CD. I broke a T10 torx doing the 58nM. It went 'ping' and snapped in half. 100nM is verrry much.

I fitted my 2007 Gs shock in Dec '23 Spring strut to rear swing arm. Initial 20nm. Final. 58. Loctite 243 (Medium) Spring strut to main frame. Replace nut. 50nm Mechanical thread lock.
