2 hours later cutting them round and causing blisters . . . Only to then find out when going to the bike they dont fit anymore. The 2023 light is differrent . . . o_O:oops::p

But now had to buy new stickers in order to refit the covers to the 890. What a mission to find those pesky round interlocking sticker thingys. Eventually found them at Leroy Merlin but in straight strips

So i kept a lot of stuff from the 790 to try and save some much needed money. One item was off course the orange headlight protector which i deem most critical because i commute daily on the most dangerous roads in the world. . Which is any road in Gauteng . . .

Just as a matter of info this part no only fits 690 models from 2019 upwards :cool: Just as matter of info as i have a 2018 i am extremely thankful for that . . . :p

This guy recons that yes KTM has fixed a lot of the issues with the 890. Interrested to know if when the 990 lands if it can be trusted or does the process start from scratch again ?

It seems the blocked oil jet thing is a South African ******** story. I have chatted to a very good KTM mechanic that is over the seas and he noted that it is a well known fact (SA knows this as well) that there was a batch of badly hardened cams. That oki with the flies around his head was...
