Well, how do you know if the aircooled engine overheats? There's no temp gauge? Maybe they've been overheating to a degree (ha ha) anyway, and it's just never noticed?

I assume that pulling(tensile) force is mostly due to the piston's inertia. Ignoring combustions stroke I would guess the pushing(compression) force on the conrod is then the same when it reaches BDC? But now add the combustion force and the stress becomes way higher, but I guess the conrod can...

Soos ek verstaan het enige LiOn battery daai vereiste, alhoewel ek moet bysê ek vind nêrens inligting daaroor vir NMC batterye nie. Ek kan jou wel sê hulle gebruik nie net die spanning om SOC te bepaal nie, maar dis moontlik dat met NMC die spanning 'n groot deel van die formule is.
