The 2008 has technical improvements that were introduced in that year, if I recall, but I have to wonder why the motor was redone. 100,000km is not a lot for these engines. I bought my first ever GS with 75,000km on the clock and it went way over 100,000km with no issues.

If there's one thing I learn from this thread, it is that I don't ride nearly enough.
