At 269kg it is f@@@king heavy. I sold my VFR1200X Crosstourer due to it being too heavy. I dropped it in sand and coulndn't pick it up. It weighed in at 270kg wet. But on tar that weight did not matter and this GSA will eat tar miles with gusto and style. Not the prettiest bike out there...

I use mine on the XR. Dirt only. No issues to date. The mount is the same for the 395, just rotated through 90 degrees, which has been on my Varadero since whenever. Also no issues. I am quite impressed with the retention ability of these stock mounts.
