I have used the T63 on my Super Enduro and a few friends on their 990 adventures. I love the feel and the handling of the tyre. The only negative for me would be the narrow and low profile. It does not protect the rim very well.

Cannot recommend the E09 for longevity this is what mine looks like after 750 km 90% dirt road

Tom tom has great units but they don't handle tracks that great. Believe me you will want to navigate tracks at some or other time

I've got the Zumo 660 and the Montana. Both of them pretty rugged but the Montana is my preferred unit. All of the Zumos and Montanas are waterproof.

The main difference between the regular nuvi's and the 500 is that it is waterproof. For me the Zumo or Montana range is much better for biking especially if you like sharing routes (i prefer tracks) between a group of riders.

Just make sure your license is up to date (no 21 day grace period in Lesotho). I've been there plenty times never had any problems.
