Concur with @Fuzzy Muzzy , extras make a difference - they are bloody expensive nowadays. I would be hard pressed to pay R110k (no extras) if I had like for like, another option with the extras you mention @R130k. The secret is good care reflected in the presentation of the bike, like @Striggs...

As long as you stay on the premises, do not go bush riding across the road. Also, lock your car with everything in it, there can be opportunistic snatching. Johann is a bit trigger happy of late so things have calmed down (not that it was an issue)

Most, if not all XT/DT's from that era, had the tail light removed, and had a smaller light fitted, typically a round trailer light. The 4T also got the SuperTrap treatment. It was the cool thing to do - as far as I'm concerned, the bile is "period correct" :cool:
