For me the standard headers work well, any increase in the ID of the header affects the torque. I enjoy the bike as is, the only mods engine wise was an itch to scratch, like the pumper carb. Akro slip on saved weight, and after properly set up by Julian on his dyno, bought the beast alive...

FWIW - depending on how you ride, if you are just cruising, the FCR carbs (with airbox mod) gives better consumption, if you are heavy handed consumption is on par with standard setup, but performance is better.

Yes (650R though with Akro) and the change was significant (on the dyno graph as well as seat of pants experience) Porting - I just raised the roof and smoothed out the big lumps. It rides like a dream, and is more bike than my abilities as a rider. Any gains beyond that (% gain) like fitting...
