    Hi all. I am planning a trip to Hazyview and surrounding areas and have never been there. Any advice on where to stay would be appreciated ideally self catering with restaurant near by if not maybe a hotel. Also any places or routes that are a must do will help. Thanks in advance.

    Anyone been doing wheelies on their gs and if so has it caused any fork or front shock leaks on the tele leaver suspension. My first gs so just wondering how strong tele lever front suspension is. My other bikes did end up with fork seal leaks but standard forks are quick to remove, apparently...

    Just had a test ride on gs 850. Got off my 1200 rallye onto 850 expecting it to be quite flat but that engine really surprised me had nice power and pulled from low down. Only thing I didn’t like was small screen.

    Is it normal for temperature reading to fluctuat for eg I was going about 100km it went up to 90 then when I coasted to stop went down to 70 odd?

    Did you have this heat issue when bike was new. I have a gs rallye but only has 2000km but I have no heat issue yet.

    Three weeks ago I finally bought a rallye. My first bmw and loving this bike. Thanks to all the wild dogs for response I got with my concerns about right side heat issue and some other questions I had.

    [No longer]Stuck between deciding on a Africa Twin or 1200GS.

    My 2c worth. I had an AT and did 18000 on it and it is a great bike. I have just bought the GS Rallye and I think if you are going to spend most of the time on tar the gs is the way to go. I have only done 1000km so far and it’s my first bmw but am really happy with this bike.
