I say KTM should figure out how to fix the clutch issue on the 790! The bike was built for what you did with it, the clutch should be built to handle it. I saw Chris Birch talk about heavier springs, have you considered that option? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Scotts damper gives very good stability, I’m on 966km and after my 1000km service Monday will take the 790 for its maiden adventure trip to Orrie Baragwanath, so any 790 keen to take a midweek break next week, let me know... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fortunately the KTM tools are in the left cover, I lost a couple of my own with the cover, nothing major.

Did a quick jhb -Tondeldoos ride on Sunday going mostly dirt on the way there, Zusterstroom, Lankloof, Laersdrif road. Back we had to do lots of tar because of the normal family responsibility situation... Added tools to the right hand side cover, replaced side cover without lifting...

Gee S you must have a hard time riding sand if your pressure increases when you deflate the tires  ;). Jokes aside it's interesting how much effect tire pressure has on the stability, unfortunately haven't heard much good about the Karoo 3's, why would KTM persist?

I've had two units, and still not working, flimsy i.m.o. Just my experience.

if I buy a 790 I might just try and change the karoo 3's straight away. Any recommendation?, I lean towards 50/50 or more off-road bias.

Interesting what do you think the Norden will cost in SA? Word is the T7 is coming Nov/Dec at around R200k, much more than initially expected. I am pretty much in free fall at the moment...  :ricky:
