The weather was extremely hot.... 37 degr.... and the fan ran for a long time, but never had any issues other than my right leg getting a bit warm....

I took a trip to Geluksburg from Rosetta to watch the Moto Gp at @Draad s place.... The bike runs like a dream still....consuming 32km/l. Average speed 110kph.

.... I'm waiting for the first bit of drama.... Don't think it's going to come from the bike though.....😸

This is the side stand enlarger I've got....

I've added a sidestand enlarger foot. It definitely make a difference..... I still don't know why manufacturers make the foot so small on dual sport bikes?

I think you'll struggle to find an adventure bike under R50k nowadays.... even if you already have all the gear. I decided to go smaller for various reasons, but still paid R100k, although it was a new bike. My 2c

I've found that many of my biking buddies don't ride much anymore, but that's cos we're getting older.... Yes, older bikers are a dying breed, but not because lack of enthusiasm..... More like lack of strength! 😂 I'm still enjoying it after 50 plus years of biking, but have gone to smaller...

Both are legendary machines,but subject to a regular maintenance regime from what I understand. Hopefully spares will still be available, given KTM s financial issues... Personally I think I would go for the 950 carb model..... But then I'm old school!...🤪😁
