Deon..... this bash was organized by Petri (see first page), as a social gathering and thank-you for WDs support of his business. There were specifically NO formal rides intended..... Participants are left to their own arrangements and routes. Most of the participants make the route to the venue...

When I had my 'Alp I struggled to find this hesitation problem, and thought the diaphragms were shot, but this wasn't the case..... Stripped the carbs and cleaned... never needed to change diaphragms in 18 years I had the bike. The throttle shut-off valves are probably the most neglected part...

Ja.....the Transalp airfilter box is a bit of a pain,but fortunately one doesn't have to do this too often! 😜 ....glad I could help!👍

Proper pants (long) have saved me from getting serious road-rash in the past.... I once took a fall at around 85 kph after hitting a Duiker on a gravel road..... Slid for about 75m and didn't loose any skin...... 😜.... The pants were a bit fubar though.

Clean up the throttle shut off valves on the carbs.....dust gets in between the diaphragm seat and seal.... There's a small foam filter at the bottom of the air filter box.... Replace! Vra my!..... Het lank gesoek vir die hakkel op spoed!👆🤪 👍👍
