Yes.... use a bit of soapy water to lubricate... they will stretch over oem grips.

So yesterday I read on a post by @Dorsland about adjusting the throttle jerk syndrome at low speeds and tried it. ..... can't believe the difference it made!

So are these bikes here in SA yet?

I did the same procedure,and can confirm it makes a difference! ...can now putter in first gear at walking pace without the jerk. Good call @Dorsland! 👍👍😁 It works!

Regarding the fuel pump strainer/teabag..... From what I can see, this is more to protect the pump? I'll investigate if it's possible to install a high pressure in line filter between pump and injector.... In early days we used to do this with our Group N racecars when FI first came out...

Motorcycle chains mostly have rubber seals in the links nowadays...(O-ring, x-ring,etc). These have sealed in lubricants,and provided the seals are not damaged, the chain should last well. Chain design has changed over the years and improved reliability,but one thing is certain.... Regular...
