Yes be very careful of Fox boots, I know someone that had a big crash while wearing them, but then again he always rode too fast.

Now buying it on debt is a whole other matter again....I always buy my toys cash, don't like spending future earnings on something not absolutely necessary, especially not in these uncertain times.

I don't easily get mad, but there are times when my speed demon takes over, can't really explain it, but just riding waaay over the limit for a while, that is why the hooligan in me has to be fed every so often, did monthly trackdays with a 1000 RSVR Aprilia for many years, and now I race BMW...

Just had a thought, if the bakkie runs out of fuel, you could have some-one sit on the bike, and "push" the car from behind! Very versatile attachment imo. You would just have to put the chain back!

The problem with all the bikes mentioned above is that they are very dangerous. They are so slow you will fall asleep riding them and have a terrible accident. I suggest a KTM 500

Craig a 500 does not have faults. I would choose it above my 950 SE, just makes me ride way too fast, until I run out of talent. It is more dangerous riding slowly, you could fall asleep and have a nasty accident!

In 1979, in Matric I drooled over these Hawks every day on my way home from school, at the local Honda dealer....how I would have loved one of those beauties back then! Complete with Comstar wheels.

I've had a bunch of bikes, all of them got sold when it was their time, I don't regret anything, the best one? Probably the KTM 500, what a machine, but also the bike that ended my riding career....mixed feelings.
