Just FYI, I had a spare key made up at a locksmith up here in the west rand - he had a special machine to code - but he used my existing key and made a spare for me - about R600 if I remember correctly - maybe someone in WC does the same?

See this adapter for large bikes as opposed to using a trailer - I have seen smaller bolt-on ones for the tow bar for smaller bikes, but this is for 270kg plus Big Bikes!!! Mike - Z1300 on the forum can tell you more about the specs, but I helped him load and off load yesterday in about 3...

Sean at SMD motorcycle  been servicing my GS's for the last 10 years - based in weltevreden park and works from home - just had yr 100 000km service done - R2500-00, but no pads etc needed, just alternator belt done as a precautionary - 083 556 1944 - tell him Peter Brand referred you :thumleft:

Just hit the milestone on my third GS1200 - 2006 model 10 Services, one alternator belt replaced at last service - old one still perfect just keep as a spare - untold tanks of fuel and tyres but that is all - good for another 100 000km :thumleft:
