Ok, so we had some progress on the staircase.. little bit of lap-en plak to manufacture a handrail. Now for the manhole to install a platform to somehow lift stuff onto the deck in the future.. my budget is nearing it's end and no floor yet :(

And him at work while I had a cold one.. and also the only Yamaha that doesn't leak oil on the premises.

The little one nagged about riding after I had him helping a little the past 2 weeks to keep him busy (anders jaag hy net kak aan) Had to sand down and put some butcher's block oil on the outside braai block and washed the balance bike which his sister now rides... He was not impressed by that...

I had a little procedure last Thursday so was pretty useless this weekend and it seems everyone was teasing me with bike trip photos :) Me and the laaitie took the 250 out last weekend for about 35km and 3 beers later... enjoy this little thumper very much..

Yes Indeed, stock standard with the "trail' rims and stock exhaust muffler which is pretty much impossible to replace/find.. just replaced the oilseal at the gearlever, she does smoke a little on start-up though but I do not cover long enough distances to say if she really burns oil..

Ja die ou by wie ek die Monkey gekoop het het my so bietjie oor die kop geslaan, nogal hier op die forum en groot naam in die bike sales game. Z50a gekoop maar met ST70 gearbox, maar so leer 'n mens. Toe ek hom vra daarna sê hy... sterkte met daai een🤔

That was the concern from the missus as well but the room have lekr big windows on 2 of the other sides so we get sufficient light and airflow..We don't have the humidity of KZN on the other side.

So next week the staircase will receive some attention and a "trapdoor thingie" to lift stuff from the ground onto the deck, something like a small bike or the liking.. :):) and Noneking, a tyre rack in the garage is a must, the space that tyres takes is insane..

Ok, so when we built the place it was somewhat of a dream to "one day" have a loft installed for more than one reason so we had it on the plans with the necessary engineer signature the works (the easy part) and now more than 4 years down the line this is the progress..
