Prepsol still the best. Dilute 1:1 with water, spray on leave for 10-15 min since off with water nozel. For the brake calipers I use a brush to scrub a bit to loosen brake dust.

Saw an add on FB for one for 120k in Port Shepston. Very good price I think.

There is a comparison on YouTube. Desert X has better brakes ( not that there is anything wrong with the Norden brakes) Norden is better value for money but the Desert X looks great. I have ridden the Desert X and own a Norden, can't say there is much difference either way.

That's why I have for you to borrow. I took mine off and used a GL great basin that worked well for my Nam. trip. I'm waiting to find out if there will be a warranty on the useless OE bags.

I fitted(to my Norden) TKC 80 front and E07+ on the rear (Motaz wernt avaliable) for a Nam trip last year. Trip was 5000km and bike now has done 7000km on these types. Rear maybe has 1000km left in it and front is still good for a good couple thousand km. E07+ does an adequate job if you planing...
