My solution was SW Motec racks (removable) with Woolfman/ATG or similar soft luggage attached. I still have the racks if you need them.

Was there yesterday. Gravel sections are in good condition "but" lots of loose gravel from padskraper doing maintenance, so a little loose/slippery to ride on.

Is that ceramic coated?

Just had a closer look at the heat shield on my bike and there are NO cracks on the bends. I'll try to take another pic to see why that looks like cracks but they aren't. As for the "poor edges" there isn't anything wrong with them and it would ent take long with a fine file to make them...
