Hi Fuzzy, I don't want to hi-jack the OP's thread. I haven't ridden any of the models....yet, but I like the AT's and especially the ATAS. Taking my riding style in consideration I think that I'll prefer the manual model. I like to "play" and be in control of the bike. I'm a bit "skeptical"...

Subscribed, I'm also interested to see what the different opinions are. I'm also considering getting a 2022/2023 model ATAS, but they seems to be scarce in the 2nd hand market. I would also like what the opinions are regarding DCT vs Manual transmission?

Die droogte was (en is) niemand se speel maat nie. Dis baie hartseer om te sien hoe dinge agter uitgaan sonder water.... water is lewe

Lekker om weer van jou te hoor hier op die forum ;) Ek dink dis meeste van ons se "droom" om genoeg spasie te hê vir ons speelgoed en om gemaklik daaraan te kan werk en om dit veilig te stoor. Ek sien uit daarna om die res van jou draad hier te lees. Daai XR500R van jou is omtrent "bike ****"...

Jy het niks om te verloor deur die battery te vervang nie, as dit dan nogsteed nie werk nie kan jy die battery vir iets anders gebruik.

I'll first try to replace the batteries. We tend to store our welding helmets when we don't use it, but I think that it is better to keep it somewhere exposed to direct light in order for it to keep charged.

We are planning a 3 week trip in 2026 in the bakkie (2 or may 3 vehicles) and end April beginning May is the only time which my wife can take "long" leave and we want to go and explore Namibia and started to save some money to do a "proper" trip. It is very sad to hear about the drought :(
