Might just the ABS kicking in. Did you check what it is doling when the ABS is switched off? I assume that you've checked that the brake pads and brake fluid level is correct?

I sold my Dakar with 130k km on the clock. Those Rotax engine's are bullet proof if well looked after .I once met a guy who's Dakar hat 300k km on the clock with minor issues. This is a good price. GLWS

Sorry to hear about your accident. I'm I'm glad that you are OK. By the look of the rust on the bearing race it seems like the bearing was on its ay out for quite a while. It is possible that the impact aggravated the situation. You are lucky that there is no damage to the sprocket hub.

Eina, I'm glad that she is OK under the circumstances. I've also learned the hard way that it is better to rather get warm for a while than to struggle for weeks/months while your wounds are healing. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
