It's mostly wind noise, unless there is a hectic cross wind, I'm quite short and buffeting isn't normally an issue for me on most bikes.

I have both and the shoei is definitely quieter, but the Arai is my default if I’m not sure what to take... way more comfortable after a long day, in spite of the extra noise..

Hi Shaun, decide to read a little bit.. try this.. download GarminDrive App to your phone. Email .gpx file to the phone, open/save using the app. Then use the app to send to the Drivesmart device. Obviously would need to have the device connected to the app etc like connecting Garmin devices...

Ja NK, i think you have solid point there.. in my little head i was thinking exactly the same thing, it starts making trips to N/Cape and Southern Nam look attractive... small group, no long queuing etc.

It probably boils down to their demographics. Biggest dealers and customers in Jozi.. was a trek and a half for us this year... shipped bike to Joburg, flew in, rode bike to White River, repeat in everse. Flight etc not cheap. Becomes very expensive... make that for 2 people, it starts getting...

We are heading to Malawi in Jan 2024 for 2 weeks. We are flying in and need to hire a vehicle, SUV or Double Cab of sorts. It seems that the this industry is not so straight forward as one is used to here in SA. 3rd party insurance is included with the car hire, but any and all risk for damage...
