Hi BiG DoM, I don’t use the slider on mine, the bottom where it hooks in before screwing the top, has broken off. Is yours still intact except for the slider?

I intend doing some minor modifications to a motorcycle frame. Does anyone with much more experience have some advice on how to go about preventing damage to the motorcycle electronics, especially if its not possible to strip the frame bare before welding?

I had an unfortunate incident recently and is still looking for a XR650L front wheel (hub, rim & spokes), an instrument cluster and possibly front suspension. If someone might be stripping for spares, or know where it can be found, it will be much appreciated.
