I was stung multiple times inside my helmet by something (probably a wasp), just outside caledon on my way home from the canola run 2022. Pulled over at the Total towards Napier. Bought a bag of ice and sat there for an hour. Slow learner... still ride with goggles and visor up.
Bell MX9 with MX goggles. I only flip down my visor when it gets super dusty, as in R355 and trucks kicking up dust , dusty or when it is pouring with rain.
Otherwise it's goggles , winter , summer commute and offroad.
Many of the factory provided 12v outlets are meant for low amp draw devices such
as chargers & GPS. a dedicated fused circuit with the correct gauge wiring for a compressor is the way to go.
Too many ride modes. How many do you really need??
An annoying feature on many NEW bikes are the resetting of settings when the bike is switched off. It is one of the reasons i like my f800gs. The ride modes don't reset.
Your enduro ride mode is essentially your offroad mode.
On the later models you have rain, road, enduro & enduro pro. Each one with progressively less baby-sitting.
You can stil manually switch off ABS and ASC
And lets say i take the policy but refuse to claim against it in the first 6 months? The dealer is no better off.
This stinks to high heaven. They are still on the hook for the repair.
I had the same experience with the tkc 80 and anakee wild. Brand spanking new it felt very unstable on tar. After a while it settled in or I just got used to it 🤣
I will probably go back to the anakee wild as it was a lot more puncture resistant than the tkc 80.
