but they need to keep it a smaller lighter bike, with little or no plastics to break if it falls over. In its current form its like an old XT250 or KLR 250. You can skop it off the stand and nothing breaks. That is my big attraction to it and why I take it to places I would not take my KLR or...

Is that "Boss" with the Threaded hole part of the frame? Cant you just cut it off and weld on a nut with the same size or bigger Thread. On my KLR (And a few others) where the rear carrier attaches, its 6mm and always snaps, so I have cut of the nut welded to the frame and welded on an 8mm nut...

I thought you can ride in any SADC country without a Carne. Friends of mine rode up to Kenya and back and plenty have done the opposite?? What about all those Lesotho registered cars riding about in SA??
