@Kamanya , with aftermarket bash plate I presume? Mine is still the standard and it looks very "enclosed". Anyhow, good to hear. Bike is just amazing. With the higher suspension it is just so much nicer to ride.

I had to replace therectifier of my 2007 990 after about 30 000km. Friend Hennie's bike has less than 20 000km (2010) and now also needs replacement. From the internet this seems a standard failure for 990's...Correct or not? I read it is due to the heat exposure and some relocate it to higher...

My enigste offroads is 2 X2strokes, en die 990... Is afstande so dat 'n 250 of 200 2stroke kan werk?...Ek dink op die KTM200 xcw kan ek so tussen 2 na 3ure doen. Ek raai maks 80km per tenk..

My 2c's My 990 with easy riding = 15km/L I find the normal Adventure seat to be very comfortable, much more comfortable than the S or R versions. (Test rode both) One of the reasons I bought the 990 Adv is to have more comfort on longer rides. You feel the width of the seat when you need to...
