SORRY FOR HIJACK - your thread brings back so many memories! This was my first car I bought - R300 but needed engine overhaul, which I did with my dad's help!. WHAT a jol it was... we used to bunk school & load 7 of us inside and tie one dude on the roofrack, cover him with a blanket and ride...

At the moment - only the rear... will see what it feels like after some test rides. The biggest issue fo me at this time, is probably the cost... the front spring might be an option, but to do both cartridges will just blow any spare funds...

I suppose I have to join this thread at some stage :) Picked up my Rally on 23rd May in Cape Town... trailer'd home and unbelievably - still sitting in the garage on.... a whopping 1km o_O ... well only due to a bust and swollen foot...but have used the time constructively to come up with some...

Chris - I'm a big fan of the VanVan - don't know if you checked this Ride Report done a few year back. Most of these blokes own big GS's etc. but do yourself a favour - grab a beer/coffee and check out this ride... flippen amazing...

That would be great - I have one of the last TW200's that was registered on the road... in 2018 I wanted to trade it in for a new XT250 and at that stage the XT was already for "off road use only" ...... it's all a lot of crap in any case mate - the Chinese 125's and 200's can all be registered...

Michael - please remember that the XT250 can no longer be registered for on-the-road use... apparently Farm use only
