The DR is back up for sale. What I thought was a big issue was just an issue with the chock spring and over fueling. Been using it daily for the last two weeks and no issues.

Bump… Still looking for a rear fender for a Suzuki DR350.

Does anyone maybe have a spare gear lever or know of a generic locally that will work on the DR350. I know i can import one through the agents. but dont want to wait 6 weeks if i dont have to.

I think I need to what Dawid & Marta from Moto ADVentures and just take a part the bike and just work thought it. Might just be something small I’m not seeing causing an issue.

I fill up once a week. The weekly commute is around 110-120km. But the tank generally still has some fuel left in the tank. Im to paranoid of getting stuck so I fill up when ever I see a garage. So I’ve never tried to run the tank empty the furthest I’ve gone is 100km without stopping to fuel...

Ive heard from another member that his Dr350 also uses a good amount of oil. He has been topping it up after every other tank and has been doing that for over 20000km. The bike is 25 years old and I have no idea the mileage. So its possible that the rings are worn, but I’m not a mechanic.

Very underrated. I’m wanting to upgrade to the DR650 now, that’s why I’m letting it go.

its about 20km commute 6 days a week with the odd trip out to the magalies. I don’t ride it on the highway it’s too slow for that and the tyres don’t like tar riding over 80km. I would say a 500ml of oil for every 2 tanks of fuel.

So checked the plug it was alittle dirty and had some oil. After cleaning it, the bike started up but was running alittle rough. This morning I noticed a small gap between the carb and the airbox connected pipe. So moved it to seal better. The bike started up as normal and was idling perfect...
