My engine seized on 18000km because the oil pump packed up. I don't think it is common, I just had bad luck. Runner is the right man for advice, he knows these engines like the palm of his hand 👍

It uses oil and does not like overheating - normally because of too little oil. There are some good oil coolers available to manage the heating better. Don't let it idle while standing for too long

Week point - oil and heat Strong point - simple as **** and nice to ride
