Spending the last day of my road at Goanikontes, a beautiful Oasis in the middle of nowhere. If you blink you will miss it. It's a top must see places if you are ever in the area. It's about 58km from Swakopmund and 74km from Walvis Bay. There is something for everyone........

I use the Gedore 400mm tyre levers which I bolt to the inside of my pannier racks. It gives you good leverage for those tough beads

Finally got to the Goanikontes turn off after a grueling 80km of tar 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Beautiful road and scenary to Goanikontes Goanikontes has changed so much since the new owners took over. It is definitely a must visit destination 👍

Oasis Food Stall just outside of Usakos towards Swakopmund. Good food, friendly service and delicious biltong Biltong, Feta and Cheese Toastie Besides new tyres, I will probably need a bigger riding pants as well 🤣🤣🤣🤣
