    99% sure they are both 6v. You could measure the charging voltage on the two battery wires when the engine is running

    All (most) old bikes have a stator coil behind the flywheel for the ignition circuit so they run without a battery & the lights work while the engine is running. They have another stator coil for lights battery charging etc. A lot of the smaller bikes had the head/taillight & hooter flickers...
